The Aries Full Moon: You’re Allowed to Want More
There is a Full Moon in Aries today, and she is bringing a literal match to every place we’ve been saying, “It’s fine,” when it absolutely is not fine. The Moon sits opposite the Libra Sun, lighting up the eternal conversation between what I need and what we need. Libra season asks us to look at our relationships, our compromises, and the ways we make room for other people. Aries looks right back at us and asks, “Okay, but where are YOU in all of that?”
This is the kind of Moon that can make a feeling impossible to keep tucked away and below the surface. Maybe you’ve been giving more than you have. Maybe you’ve been waiting for someone to understand a need you haven’t quite said out loud. Or maybe you already know what you want, and you’re tired of talking yourself out of it. Venus is in Scorpio right now, so our desires may feel deeper and a little harder to explain. We want honesty. We want intimacy. We want to know what’s real beneath the pretty words. Meanwhile, Mercury in Libra is trying to help us find language for those truths without setting the entire room on fire. That is a useful combination if we’re willing to be honest and listen. Mars in Cancer is also pressing on Chiron in Aries. That can stir up an old hurt when we try to defend ourselves or ask for what we need. If your reaction feels bigger than the moment, give yourself a breath before you send the paragraph, slam the door, or decide the universe is personally testing you today. Ask what part of you is asking to be protected. And with the Libra Sun trine Pluto in Aquarius, there’s an opportunity to see a pattern clearly enough to change your part in it. You do not need to solve your entire life under one Full Moon. But you can tell yourself the truth about what has been draining you.

On one side, write, “What I’ve been doing to keep the peace.” On the other, write, “What would feel honest and fair to me.” Read both without judging yourself. Then choose one small action you can take this week that honors the second list.
