In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll move beyond your Sun sign and explore the different pieces that make up your unique astrological blueprint. You’ll learn what the planets, zodiac signs, houses, and aspects represent—and how they work together to tell the story of you.
During this class, we will explore:
What a birth chart is and how it is created
The meanings of the Sun, Moon, and Rising signs
The roles of the planets in astrology
The twelve zodiac signs and their elements
The twelve houses and the areas of life they represent
An introduction to aspects and planetary connections
How to locate important placements within your own chart
Simple steps for beginning to interpret a birth chart
No previous astrology knowledge is required. This class is designed for complete beginners, anyone who feels overwhelmed by their birth chart, or those who would like a stronger foundation before exploring astrology more deeply.
Please bring a printed or digital copy of your birth chart if you already have one. You may also provide your exact birth date, birth time, and birth location when registering so your chart can be prepared for class.
